General Visitation:

  • Visitors must present valid photo identification and adhere to the facility’s dress code and conduct rules.
  • Children may visit when accompanied by an adult and must be supervised at all times.
  • Individuals who have been incarcerated in the Park County Jail within the past year are not permitted to visit current inmates.

Mail Guidelines:

  • All incoming mail is inspected for contraband.
  • Acceptable items include greeting cards, letters, children’s drawings, and photographs without nudity or obscene content. No Polaroids are allowed.
  • Money orders may be sent via mail or dropped off at the detention window to be placed on the inmate’s account. Cash, personal checks, payroll checks, or tax refund checks are not accepted.
  • Magazines or softcover books must be sent directly from a publisher or dealer. Hardcover books, pornographic magazines, and any literature promoting racism, gang-related activity, or threatening religious beliefs are prohibited.
  • Do not include decorative stamps, stickers, postage stamps, blank paper, drawing tablets, pens, pencils, mailing envelopes, food, hygiene items, clothing, or medical supplies.
